LAFD Supports Local Organizations at the Ronald McDonald House
The Los Angeles Fire Department Fire Station 35 partnered with community organizations to help build children’s play houses at the Ronald McDonald House.
Local firefighters joined forces with L.A. Parent Magazine, NAPPA Awards, and the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House to help support the families of sick or injured children. The children’s play houses will remain at the Ronald McDonald House where the siblings of hospitalized kids can enjoy them while parents go between there, and the hospital. In those stressful times, it’s important to facilitate community connections and the power of play to kids faced with such adversities.
Los Angeles Fire Department Firefighters don’t just extinguish burning buildings and tend to the sick and injured, but also work in conjunction with their local communities to strengthen ties and help build unity. It’s these relationships that set the foundation for a shared commitment with the people, businesses, and organizations throughout Los Angeles.
