Evacuation Warnings for March 12-13 Due to High Mudslide/Debris Flow Risk
Due to the forecasted high rains which have the potential to trigger mudslides and debris flows on March 12-13, the City of Los Angeles is issuing EVACUATION WARNINGS for several areas and limited, address specific Evacuation Orders which will go into effect from 7AM Wednesday (3/12/2025) to 6pm Thursday (3/13/2025)
The warnings and orders are in recent burn areas which are especially susceptible to heavy rain.
The map link above visually depicts the affected areas which are described as:
PALISADES FIRE AREA: Getty Villa area, Highlands near the burn areas, Bienveneda area near Temescal Canyon Park, Rivas Canyon/Will Rogers State Park area, Mandeville Canyon above Tanners Road, Old Ranch Road and Rustic Creek.
SUNSET FIRE AREA: East and South of Runyon Canyon.
HURST FIRE AREA: Olive Lane in the Oakridge Mobile Home Park.
Homes in the warning area with high risk will be visited by LAPD TODAY to issue specific evacuation orders. If you are not home, they will leave a flyer with important evacuation information.
